Jessica & James

 I met my husband in New Zealand in February 2014, however I am from Canada and James is from Australia! In March of 2015 I moved to Australia, and we were engaged in July 2015- the rest is history! Due to my family being overseas, planning a wedding that everyone could attend was a huge challenge! Most importantly, I didn’t want to try on a dress without my Mum there with me. In March of this year my Mum came to visit- which meant dress shopping! We spent the day in Sydney trying dresses on, but no dress was the “one”. Our last appointment of the day was at Abbey Bridal. I was a bit discouraged at this point in the day, but Suzanne wasn’t going to let me leave without finding my dream gown. When I saw my gorgeous gown I was hopeful that it was the one, but was still indecisive since it was so completely opposite of what I’d first pictured myself in! I said “yes” that afternoon to my dream Maggie Sottero gown (through many tears of joy!!). It was so comfortable, flattering, and everything I’d ever dreamed of- the only alteration other than the hem was inserting some of the satin into the chest area to make the gown a little more modest, it fit like a glove. It may be a couple months late but I did promise Suzanne I would sent a photo of me in my dress… so thank you Abbey Bridal for helping me find the one and for making the experience of finding my dress so special for me!
